Plan your journey to Windhoek.

Most delegates travelling to Namibia will need to apply for an eVisa before departure. We have also secured a delegate rate at the Avani Windhoek Hotel & Casino for the conference.

How to apply for your eVisa

Namibia operates a fully online visa application system. Delegates are strongly encouraged to apply well ahead of the conference date.

01

Confirm whether you need a visa

Visit the official MHAISS eServices portal and check the requirement for your passport, since rules vary by nationality and can change without notice.

02

Create an account and start your application

Register on the portal and select the correct visa category for your visit. Most conference delegates should apply under the short stay/tourist visa category, submitted online in advance.

03

Complete the online form

Enter your personal and passport details exactly as they appear in your passport, along with your travel dates and your accommodation address in Windhoek.

04

Upload your supporting documents

You will typically need a clear colour scan of your passport bio page, a recent passport-style photograph, proof of return or onward travel, and proof of accommodation. We will provide a letter of invitation when you indicate this on the conference registration.

05

Submit your application and save your reference number

A confirmation email will follow, with a reference number you can use to track your application status on the portal.

Once you have submitted your eVisa application, please email snuugulu@unam.na, cc: info@acebr.org, with your name and application reference number. Our team will follow up and can assist if any issue arises before you travel.

Once approved, print your visa approval notice and carry it together with your passport when you travel. Present both at your port of entry into Namibia.
